The Gospel of the Kingdom of God
As we have studied previously, the Israelite nations (Anglo-Saxon-Celtic countries) represent the ‘kingdom of God’ on earth. For evidence and proof of this please visit:

Was Jesus a Celt?
This occurred after Yahweh established and organised His Kingdom at Mount Sinai after He chose the Israelites to be His servant people (Ex 19:5-20 & 2 Sam 7; 22-24); gave them His laws (Ex 20- Deut 34); became their King (Isa 44:6; Judges 8:22-23; 1 Sam 8:7 & 12:12) and gave them the land promised (Gen 15:18-21 & Josh 1:2-5) after the people agreed to do all Yahweh had commanded. Thereby confirming the unconditional covenant made with Abraham (Gen 17:3-8 & Jer 31:35-37) which was reconfirmed with Isaac and then Jacob (Gen 35:10-12). In doing so they were to be blessed, and in being so, act as an example to the other nations of what might be expected if they also implemented and followed His laws (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14)
When Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He spoke to Moses concerning how they would function as a nation before Him. The giving of the Law was the means whereby Israel would maintain and conduct themselves under Yahweh. Moses admonished Israel to follow these laws and said “Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” (Deut 4:5-6)
Let’s understand, His commandments provide both a summary of his entire law and a moral code for the individual, while His statutes and judgements provide the nations with all the laws they will need to achieve true freedom, peace, liberty, health and prosperity. They cover every aspect of our national life including the best form of government; justice system; economy and taxes; foreign relations; personal property rights; sustainable agricultural practices; health laws; welfare system; employment relations; holidays; social responsibilities and military to name a few (Ex 20 - Deut 34). While these laws were originally given to Israel to implement and administer, after Christ returns, all nations are expected to follow the example of perfected Israel so they can also enjoy Yahweh’s blessings.
Unfortunately, Israel did not remain obedient to Yahweh for long or act as the model nation they were called to be and accordingly were punished through the Assyrians who took them captive around 721 BC. Yahweh removed all Israel from His presence (i.e. removed them from Palestine) with no one returning accept one priest (2 Kings 17:23-28). They would eventually migrate to the 'isles of the sea' (British Isles), northwest of Palestine (Psa 91:1, 24:15; Isa 24:15; 49:1, 12; 59:19; Jer 3:12-18, 23:8, 31:7-8, 10). Note that in Hebrew the same word is used for both 'sea' and 'west', so 'isles of the sea' should be translated 'isles of the west'. Here they would be replanted in fulfilment of the words Samuel prophesied to King David (2 Sam 7:10-11). This is further confirmed in 2 Esdras 13:40-45 stating when the House of Israel was captive in Assyria, they took “counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitudes of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt”.
Josephus the renown ancient Jewish historian, wrote in his Antiquities of the Jews, Book 2, Chapter 5, v2 that out of all the “entire body of Israel” (12 tribes), only 2 tribes remained in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans since the “ten tribes were beyond Euphrates till now” and were an “immense multitude, and could not be estimated by numbers”. This migration has also been confirmed by many leading historians, archaeological findings and historical records.
In due course, the House of Israel lost its identity and became ‘gentiles’ (see study on ‘Who are the Gentiles’) among the nations of Europe as they migrated toward Britain, becoming known by many names including the Khumri, Sacae, Scythians, Goths, Picts, Scots, Viking, Angles, Jutes, Celts, Saxons and Normans. All different names for the various Israelite tribes, linked together by the black Obelisk of Shalmaneser, the Behistun rock in Persia and other monuments and historians including Herodotus, Pliny, Ptolemy and Sharon Turner.
This was all in complete fulfilment of the prophesies and promises concerning Israel. Including their loss of the name Israel, to be known under a new name (Isa 65:15) called great, 'Great' Britain (Gen 12:2). In their new home, they were to now be called after the name Isaac (Gen 21:12; Rom 9:7) i.e. Saxons (sons of Sac) because the I is dropped since in Hebrew it is rarely pronounced. They would also speak a new language (Isa 28:11). The word 'British' appropriately means 'covenant man' in Hebrew and is almost spelt the same in Hebrew (Brith-ish). It’s interesting on reaching their destination they would start to call themselves the 'covenant people' in Hebrew and just one example showing the remarkably close affinity the Saxon/Celtic/Welsh/English languages have with the Hebrew language. This on its own is a strong proof of our origin. Not only many actual words either directly or indirectly rooted in the Hebrew language, but also sharing a similar grammatical and idiomatic construction and appears to be the only languages into which Hebrew can almost literally be translated.
Although Israel had been rejected and divorced by God in judgement for their sins, as we discussed earlier this was not to be permanent since Yahweh promised they would never cease to be a nation before Him and were to be restored at the end of their punishment (Jer 3:8-25; 31:1-37 & 50:17-20). This was made possible through the death of Christ enabling divorced and rejected Israel to be restored to the Abrahamic Covenant so in the place they were called “not my people”, they could be called ”the sons of the living God” when Yahweh promised He would make a new covenant (the New Testament) with Israel:
“Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God” (Hos 1:10)
“Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yahweh: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Jer 31:32-33)
It was this truly wonderful news, which Yahshua had come to declare concerning the Kingdom of God (Israel) and the good news which the disciples and apostles were to preach to the ‘gentiles’ (lost Israelites) everywhere they might be found. Yahshua Himself confirmed the House of Israel had become lost to the world (though surely not to Himself) and therefore located outside Palestine (otherwise they wouldn’t be lost!). He states several times, including in Matt 15:24 that He was sent only to the “lost sheep of Israel” and commanded His apostles to also go and preach only to the “lost sheep of Israel” just as prophesied:
“These twelve Yahshua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the nations, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 10:5-7).
In Ezekiel 34, the House of Israel is described by Yahweh as being His sheep and His people and states He Himself would search for them and look after them.
Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks…The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick,…neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered…For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day…I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment…And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd…Thus shall they know that I Yahweh their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD. (Eze 34: 2-31).
“And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and Yahweh said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.” (1 Ki 22:17)
“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.” (Jer 50:6)
“Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.” (Jer 50:17)
“I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.” (Mic 2:12)
“For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” (Matt 18:11) and “And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.” (Luke 15:6).
Since Christ was sending His disciples to share the gospel with the lost Israelites, He must have told them where they were to be found which appears to have been in Britain since the Christian religion was brought directly to Britain from Jerusalem by Joseph of Arimathea and other disciples soon after, if not before the crucification. Again, there are many proofs and certainly a great deal of tradition that the apostle Simon and later Paul visited Britain along with others too.
It was Britain who built the world's first ever church (Glastonbury, England around 38 AD) before taking Christianity to Rome. Facts confirmed by many records, including the rulings of the early councils of the Roman Catholic church. It was Britain who became the first ever Christian people and nation in 156 AD by Act of its government (British Triads) (Hos 1:10; Isa 9:2; 44:3-5; 45:17-19; 45:25; 48:20; 49:3) and throughout her history has always been a great missionary people having taken Christianity around the globe (Isa 27:6; 43:21; 44:3-5; Mark 16:15 and Matt 7:20) not to mention the translation, printing and distribution of the bible itself which continues to this day. Did not Christ tell the Jews that the Kingdom of God would be taken from them and given to a people who would produce its fruit (Matt 21:43).
What ‘good news’ it must have been to the lost Israelites upon hearing the true gospel message. To learn that Yahweh had not forgotten them or permanently rejected them, but had instead opened the way for them to be restored and reconciled back to Him. Enabling them to become the “children of the living God” and therefore able to fulfil their special purpose in serving Yahweh. These lost Israelites found in the Isles north west of Palestine; in the desolate places, islands afar off, coastlands and ends of the earth. A race of people sharing the same heritage, culture and traditions. Living together as a nation and company of nations. A group of Christian nations blessed with great wealth, known worldwide for their crops, lamb and beef. A people who were to become a blessing to mankind, showing the fruits of righteousness as they became a great missionary people taking Christianity around the globe all as prophesied.
Therefore the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is both national and international in scope and details the fulfilment of the promises made concerning the nation and people of Israel. Their later redemption and restoration made possible through Christ’s death and resurrection, enabling Yahweh to bring them back, as a nation into covenant relationship with Him that they might fulfil their responsibilities in later days. The return of Christ to earth, to rule over the House of Jacob (Israel) and eventually all nations and kingdoms of the world. This being achieved as Israel finally takes up its responsibility and becomes the model nation and therefore a blessing to all families and nations on earth. A servant people, demonstrating Yahweh’s love to all. Other nations and races will be invited to study His laws in operation and to observe the benefits which follow, in order that they might too adopt the same laws and thereby enjoy the same benefits and blessings and become part of the Kingdom of God also (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14:16-19). Thus fulfilling the promise that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord.
Of course, lets never forget that “…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)
