The True Gospel Message
The Path to True Happiness
We all desire to live happy and fulfilled lives, however for many the way to true happiness is a mystery. The more we search, the more elusive it becomes. No sooner have we attained what we thought we wanted and we are again dissatisfied and craving something new as if the outcome would be any different. And yet, the bible declares “he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (Pro 29:18) and “Blessed is the man that trusteth in Yahweh, and whose hope Yahweh is” (Jer 17:7)
With these simple words, the path to true happiness has been revealed. Yahweh designed us to be fulfilled and satisfied beyond our wildest dreams. We were made for a purpose and in carrying out that purpose we would live happy and content lives. All we need to do is believe and follow Him and not only as individuals, but nations too. You see, Yahweh’s plan and redemptive work is to be total. Even the earth itself is to be renewed and be transformed back to how it was meant to be in the beginning when He created the Garden of Eden as a template for Adam. He knows we are not just individuals who need saving. Since we all live within families, communities, nations and the world at large these also need redemption, restoration and transformation if we are all ever to truly experience happiness and fulfilment on the earth just as He intended.
If only we would administer and follow His perfect laws, we would find what we were looking for. True peace, happiness, health, general wellbeing, justice, freedom and liberty would be ours. We would have just governments and prosperous economies where everyone would be able to enjoy the fruits of their own labour without fear of anyone exploiting or stealing from them. Whether directly or indirectly through interest, inflation and excessive taxation. As a result we would be free from all insecurities, fears and worries of life. Free from unhappiness, sickness, disease, poverty and want. This is why Yahshua (actual name of ‘Jesus’ meaning ‘Yahweh saves’ in Hebrew) came and will return again for He declared “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10)
Of course, the reality is we have not believed Yahweh or followed His ways which would bring us what we have always longed for. Instead, we have rejected His perfect laws, wisdom and direction from the beginning. We have rejected the God who created us and knows us best and promised that the “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Cor 2:9) Rather, we have trusted in our own understanding and ‘followed our own hearts’, even though the bible warns, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17:9) “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.” (Pro 28:26)
Despite reaping an ever-increasing harvest of suffering, sorrow, war, brokenness, sickness and death, culminating in the full tide of unprecedented misrule, greed, selfishness and immorality that we see today, man refuses to repent of his sinful and selfish ways. With pride he continues to think he knows better than his own Creator and therefore will not acknowledge that Yahweh’s ways are better than our own. Sadly, we have put pleasure, self-interest and material gain before all else and each other.
“…they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (Rom 1:21) “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart” (Eph 4:18)
Yahweh foresaw our times perfectly and inspired Timothy to write “in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (2 Tim 3:1-4)
Indeed, “perilous times” are coming because of our selfishness, greed and immorality and it’s time we woke up before it’s too late. The question is, are you willing to repent and believe the God who created you?
Yahshua declared “God hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." (Luke 4:18)
Whatever your beginnings, your past failures, your current situation, He has a plan and purpose for your life, for “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose…” (Rom 8:28-30) “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37) however, we must repent and believe. Sure, it will not be easy, nor will it be “…too difficult for you or beyond your reach…No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it….See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and Yahweh your God will bless you” (Deut 30:11-20)
With “life and prosperity, death and destruction” set before us, what will you choose?
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jer 29:11 -13)
Call on Him today and seek Him with all your heart and He will “prosper you” and “give you hope and a future”. For you are part of Yahweh’s great plan and purpose. Indeed you are! There is surely a place for you, a place of no small importance in His Kingdom. You are an integral part of it, provided you are in right relationship with Him. This relationship made possible through the sacrifice of His Son Yahshua upon the Cross. You may take your place in His Kingdom and possess everlasting life here and now for “as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).
The Only Way
How do we get into right relationship with Him so we can become “sons of God”? Yahshua commands us to “Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15) Why? Because we are all sinners and this is the only way we can receive forgiveness, redemption, purpose and eternal life.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one...” (Rom 3:10) “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23) “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way” (Isa 53:6) and as a result “your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you…” (Isa 59:2)
There is no other way! “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Yahshua our Lord” (Rom 6:23) who said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) However, "…unless you repent you will all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
Again, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) Of course, we must not use His patience and mercy as an excuse for delaying for “no man knows when his hour will come” (Esc 9:12) because “the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:10). Today is the day of salvation for tomorrow may never come!
The question is, will we “repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance”? (Acts 26:20) This requires much more than a simple confession of faith in the person of Yahshua. It requires we believe Him enough to do what He says.
For “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?…faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone…Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:16-19)
In reference to Abraham, James continues, “Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?…Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” (James 2:22-24)
Yahshua said, “Ye shall know them by their fruits” (Mat 7:16) because if we truly believe, we will put our beliefs into action and do what He says because we are utterly convinced He knows what is best for us. What is the fruit or evidence of our faith? “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) These are tough words, but again there is just no other way! Nor any easier path! “Then said Yahshua unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” (Matt 16:24)
Again, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matt 7:21)
Are we really willing to give up our own will and do the will of our Heavenly Father? Are we willing to completely change our thinking, attitudes and lives and start to walk like Yahshua did? Of course, this means we must also “believe in the gospel” which His Son proclaimed, since its our Heavenly Father’s will “that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” (John 6:29).
The Only True Gospel
But, which gospel was Yahshua referring to that we must believe? With so many different gospels being promoted, is it even possible to know? Thankfully, while mainstream Christianity continues to preach a multitude of gospels, we need not be confused. Clearly there is only one true gospel and since “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace” (1Cor 14:33), the truth need not be hidden from us. In fact, the true gospel is clearly mentioned, taught and prophesied throughout the Old and New Testament. Christ Himself spent most of His ministry on earth preaching this gospel which He called the ‘Gospel of the Kingdom of God’ with this phrase occurring 103 times in the gospels alone.
“And Yahshua went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” (Matt 9:35)
“Yahshua came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15)
It is therefore this gospel and only this gospel we are to believe. However, before we can understand the ‘good news’ Christ preached concerning ‘the kingdom of God’, we must first understand what and where it is.
The Oxford Dictionary defines a kingdom as “A country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen”. Put simply, it is a community of people living in a particular place with well-defined laws and a monarchical form of government. These 4 specific attributes (a people, place, laws and monarchy) are shared by all kingdoms. However, when it comes to the Kingdom of God, these common sense attributes and definitions are all too often overlooked as all sorts of theories are expressed as to what it is. A spiritual kingdom in heaven. God’s rule in the hearts of those who love Him. The Church. A future kingdom to be established in the millennium and so on.
Some of these ideas when compared with the above standard and accepted definition of a kingdom can easily be eliminated, so no further discussion is necessary. However, let’s briefly study what the bible says on this subject and let Yahweh’s Word give us the correct answer. For a more in-depth study read our ‘What and Where is the Kingdom of God’.
If we accept the basic common sense definition found in any good dictionary or encyclopaedia and then search the scriptures, we will find that Yahweh established and organised His Kingdom on earth at Mount Sinai after He chose the Israelites to be His people (Ex 19:5-20 & 2 Sam 7; 22-24); gave them His laws (Ex 20 - Deut 34); became their King (Isa 44:6; Judges 8:22-23; 1 Sam 8:7 & 12:12) and gave them the land promised (Gen 15:18-21 & Josh 1:2-5) after the people agreed to do all He had commanded. Thereby confirming the unconditional covenant made with Abraham (Gen 17:3-8 & Jer 31:35-37) which was reconfirmed with Isaac and then Jacob (Gen 35:10-12). In doing so they were to be blessed, and in being so, act as an example to the other nations of what might be expected if they also implemented and followed Yahweh’s laws (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14)
While some might still argue that it’s a future kingdom to be established in the millennium, in the book of Daniel we are told the Kingdom of God was set up in the time of the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek and Roman rulers and was to crush “all those kingdoms” (Dan 2:31-45). This can’t refer to a spiritual kingdom, nor a future kingdom to be set up after Christ returns. Rather, it must be a real kingdom on earth (as seen above), set up in Old Testament times and have played a critical part in crushing each and every one of the listed empires in Daniel. A study of bible prophecy concerning Israel, their history and migrations will show there was indeed a related people (Israelites known by various different names) who did play a part in the fall of each of these empires.
“Foreasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold...” (Dan 2:45) and they “became like chaff ….and the wind carried them away…and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” (Dan 2:35)
Both Jeremiah and Micah stated it was Israel who was to shatter the nations and destroy kingdoms in fulfilment of Daniel’s prophecy above. It also states in Isaiah that Israel is the rock or stone that was cut out which also relates to Daniel’s prophecy in which a rock cut out without hands hits and destroys the statue of the empires.
“Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek Yahweh: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.” (Isa 51:1-2)
“Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;” (Jer 51:20)
“Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto Yahweh, and their substance unto Yahweh of the whole earth.” (Micah 4:13)
Note also, these prophesies were written during and after the captivity of Israel and Judah.
In Matt 21:43, Yahshua speaking to the ‘Jews’, states “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” Notice that despite what many believe, the kingdom was not given nor did it become the church for it was “given to a nation…” Up until this point the House of Judah which was in Judea, represented the Kingdom of God on earth. However, we are told that just as the House of David had been taken away from the House of Judah around 587 BC following the death of the last ruling King of Judah and replanted elsewhere (Eze 17), now the Kingdom was also to be taken from them. Since the only nation or people it could be transferred to inline with His promises were other Israelites, it could only have been transferred to the House of Israel (the Northern Kingdom) who had been replanted in another land as Nathan and Ezekiel promised (2 Sam 7:10-11 and Eze 34:7-31) long before.
The scriptures also declare several times that King David and his descendants were not only ruling Israel (Yahweh’s representatives on earth), but were in fact ruling the Kingdom of God. This is yet further proof that Israel and the Kingdom of God were one and the same.
“And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build me an house, and I will establish his throne for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.” (1 Chr 17:11-14)
“And of all my sons, (for Yahweh hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Yahweh over Israel.” (1 Chr 28:5)
“Thus saith Yahweh; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.” (Jer 33:25-26)
This then is the true gospel in which we stand if we continue in The Faith. That Yahweh had not forgotten or permanently rejected the nations or descendants of Israel (His Kingdom) which is not to be confused with the modern day ‘Jews’ or Israeli State. Rather, He had heard their cries and sent His only begotten Son to save and redeem His people:
“Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us. Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. How long, Lord God Almighty, will your anger smoulder against the prayers of your people? You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful. You have made us an object of derision to our neighbours, and our enemies mock us. Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved…Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.” (Ps 80:1-17)
Yahshua being “…the good shepherd…giveth his life for the sheep” (John10:11) “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep” (John 10:15) This was the purpose He was born since “…she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yahshua: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matt 1:21) “for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” (Isa 53:8).
This was the ‘good news’, “that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God” (Hos 1:10) Although they had been rejected, this was only temporary for a new covenant was to be ratified by His blood as He had spoken of the night before His crucifixion “This is the New Covenant in my blood”:
“Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yahweh: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Jer 31:32-33)
What ‘good news’ this must have been and continues to be. Not only redemption and salvation, but the knowledge He would continue to work out His plans and purposes through them in fulfilment of all His promises, including the restoration of the earth which will result in “all families of the earth be blessed” (Gen 12:3). Praise His name, that we might one day experience His true happiness, freedom, liberty, justice, peace and prosperity on earth as He had intended from the beginning. Even the earth itself is to be renewed and be transformed back to how it was meant to be in the beginning for Yahweh’s plan and redemptive work will be total:
“…all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” (Rom 11:26-27) “And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke 1:33)
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Yahweh.” (Isa 2:2-5)
“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Rev 11:15)
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” (Rev 21:3)
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” (Isa 11:6-10)
When most think about salvation and the gospel message, they think only of the individual, failing to comprehend that Yahweh’s plan includes the “…restitution of all things…” (Acts 3:21) as above. Yahweh understands there would be little point in ‘saving’ the individual if we were then to be left to live in a fallen world in which pain, suffering and death are the order of things. Understanding we all live within families, communities, nations and the world at large He is going to redeem, restore and transform all these too so we can all truly be happy, free and at peace with one another.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.” (Rev 21:4-5)
Of course, the ultimate fulfilment of this will only occur when Yahshua returns and "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord…” (Rev 11:15) “And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth” (Zec 14:9) “…and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever…” (Isa 9:6-7)
Despite the Bible devoting so much time to the true gospel and the Kingdom of God it remains one of the most misunderstood and misapplied subjects in the bible.
The False Gospels
It is difficult to understand why so many ‘churches’ have ignored, disbelieved or misunderstood the plain and simple words of Yahweh and His son and have instead preached their own false gospels. Rather than believe the gospel of the kingdom of God, they continue to preach their own universal piecemeal gospels of free grace; the social gospel, the gospel of love; the prosperity gospel; the lordship gospel; the gospel of personal salvation and the gospel concerning the person of ‘Jesus’ to name just a few.
Should we be surprised, almost all these false gospels invented by man, put man at the centre of everything, rather than Yahweh. It is all about the individual and what he wants. It is he who decides if or when he will believe; how he will live and whether he will repent or not with Yahweh only called upon when man wants something. Of course, with this mind set we are not worshiping the one true God (Elohim), we are worshiping ourselves and are so deceived!
The truth is, “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” (James 4:6)
For it is Yahweh who sits on the throne of Heaven and not us! He alone is sovereign and we cannot know Him unless He reveals Himself to us for “All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.” (Luke 10:22)
We cannot come to Yahshua unless He calls us and it is He who gives us the power to become His sons. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13)
For “I will be gracious to whom I will…(Ex 33:19) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Yahshua unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Esp 2:8-10) “Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy.” (Rom 9:18)
It is He who knows us best and what we need and if we desire to be happy and fulfilled then we are best to believe and follow Him, for His will is better than ours! “To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” (John 10:3-4) “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (John 10:27)
Of course, there is “nothing new under the sun” for no sooner had the church been established and Paul was having to warn the early Christians that some had already diverged from the truth and were preaching “another Yahshua” and “another gospel”, just as in our times.
“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” Gal 1:6-8)
“But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Yahshua whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted - you may well put up with it!” (2 Co 11:3-4)
Paul also warned the Colossians, "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." (Col 2:8)
Paul was clearly outlining the danger. False teachings based on philosophy, pagan ideas, worldly concepts and the traditions of men all threatened to subvert the new believers in Christ. Deceiving them into returning to their old ways and beliefs!
Beware of the False Teachers
The question is, are we going to allow ourselves to “be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” by those who are preaching “a different gospel” and “another Yahshua”? Are we going to continue to listen to those who “want to pervert the gospel of Christ” and therefore “turn us away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ”? Are we to be so foolish to allow them to take away from us the very great reward which the “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”? (1 Cor 2:9)
Let’s hope not! But the only way we are going to counter these false teachers and deceivers is by remaining true to Christ and His teachings which are written in His Word. Of course, we must heed His warnings too. Accordingly, let’s no longer have anything to do with those who ignore the plain truth of Yahweh’s Word and yet uphold themselves to be His teachers. False teachers who look only to their own understanding, philosophies and manmade traditions. Many driven by greed, popularity and vain deceit. Preaching populous messages to fill their churches and sell their books and DVDs, while destroying the faith of generations of Christians.
“Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.” (Isa 56:11)
“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains…they have forgotten their resting place.” (Jer 50:6)
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” (Col 2:8)
“Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?” He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition... making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down.” (Mark 7:5-13)
Let’s take heed and set aside our own traditions and doctrines of man and turn again to the Word of God as our sole authority and start to “repent and believe the gospel” Yahshua proclaimed. Of course, let us also remember that these warnings not only apply to us and our church leaders, but to those in government too. For they have deceived us and led us astray as much as any spiritual shepherd.
The True Gospel Outlines God’s Plan and Purpose for Us
As a result of our lack of understanding and unbelief concerning the true gospel message and His Kingdom, many of us are failing to appreciate the purpose for which Yahweh has called us, our goal in life, our responsibility to one another and the prize which is set before us, which we are encouraged to strive for. Most of us having become Christians are led to believe that since we have already received the ‘grand prize’ of eternal life and ‘access’ into heaven, what we do in life no longer really matters since we are all going to the same place and getting the same reward anyway. This creates confusion and we can end up drifting through life blinded to our real purpose and reasons for it as we seek some meaning in other ways.
However, whenever Yahweh requires anything of man, there is always a purpose for it. The reason why so many fail is because they are unable to see His purpose and therefore have no incentive to seek the great heights in Him. We have been too taken up with childish theories about heaven and mansions in the sky to see the true purpose of God. Yahweh’s plan for man is to make him true Lord of the universe and bring all things into subjection to Him (Heb 2:5-8.) Through sufferings, tribulations, sickness, death and trials of life, we are to eventually become fit and equipped for the rulership which Yahweh ordained from the beginning (Gen 1:26). Only when we see this instead of fairy tales will we have some incentive to partake of the glorious son-ship of God!
Accordingly, we must not allow ourselves to be deceived by the many false doctrines on ‘heaven’. The truth is, Christ is returning here to earth to establish His government and all true Christians are to rule with Him. Therefore, we must not lose our focus, but continue our race to the end to overcome our own sinful nature, as well as the world around us. We must believe, repent and live a life of obedience to Him. Gaining an understanding of what Yahweh is doing and what His plan and purpose is for mankind, which can be understood through the full gospel message. Once we know what Yahweh’s plan and purpose is and what He is doing to achieve these, we can simply follow Him, using our circumstance, skills, knowledge and gifts to great effect and purpose. Then we will understand why it is so important to believe Him and obey His commands as we demonstrate love for one another. Learning His ways now, so we can be useful to Him. Not only now, but after He comes in His Kingdom, which is to be established on this earth, where He will rule over Israel and eventually all nations and people (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14).
For there will be much work to be done after He comes, as we work with Him to restore this earth back to how it was originally intended to be and teach the nations and people of this world His Ways that they might be blessed also. It is important to understand the purpose of our preparation now so we can truly overcome this world and our own sinful nature by learning to believe and obey Him. The character and obedience we develop now will be of great value in His Kingdom.
The Messenger of the New Covenant
Clearly, the gospel of the Kingdom of God is of the greatest importance otherwise Yahshua would not have spent most of His time preaching it! Yahshua declared “Yahweh hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." (Luke 4:18) In fact, He also said "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent" (Luke 4:43)
Let’s stop and think about what Yahshua is saying here. The reason He was sent was to “preach the gospel” and “proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God”. To make this even clearer, Yahweh had foretold through the prophet Malachi "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith Yahweh of hosts. (Mal 3:1)
Understanding this is of vital importance. The “good news of the kingdom of God” and the message that Yahweh was establishing the new covenant as prophesied through the prophet Malachi were one and the same. The establishment of the new covenant which can also be translated “new testament” was the good news! However, this “new covenant” which was to bring new hope and salvation to many could only come with the shedding of blood. The blood of Yahshua.
“And as they were eating, Yahshua took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matt 26:26-28)
While understanding His message is vital, we must also consider to whom He was sent to convey it. Yahshua answers this Himself by stating “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt 15:24) and He would later command His apostles to “Go not into the way of the nations, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 10:5-7)
Indeed Israel was lost and their position had long appeared to be utterly hopeless, having been rejected and devoiced by Yahweh for their continuous disobedience and adultery. However, Yahweh had not forgotten them:
“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Rom 11:1-2, 25-29)
Israel’s punishment and rejection would not be permanent, for Yahweh had chosen them from the beginning for a special purpose and the many promises He had made to Israel would enable them to fulfil His plans and purposes and in doing so bless them and all nations. These “gifts and calling of God are without repentance” and He would keep all His promises. While their blindness was part of Yahweh’s plan, He would in time send the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob” for the covenant He was making with Israel “shall take away their sins”.
In fact, when Yahshua hung on the tree, His precious blood was shed for the people, nation and descendants of Israel and those who would also believe because “one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not” (John 11:50). For the great covenant God had made with Abraham in the beginning required such a sacrifice and redemption.
As we will look at later in more detail, the prophet Jeremiah had foretold God would make a “new covenant with the house of Israel” and “put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people”. Yahshua, being the “messenger of the covenant” was announcing that Yahweh had not abandoned Israel, but would still use them to carry out His plans and purpose. Enabling them all one day to keep His laws and therefore be able to experience His true freedom, liberty, justice, peace and prosperity on the earth as He had intended from the beginning.
This is clearly shown in the New Covenant made with Israel and Judah which was spoken of by Paul in Hebrews in which he quotes from Jeremiah “But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.” (Heb 8:6)
“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” (Heb 8:7-13)
The New Covenant provided the means of reconciliation. Israel had sinned and turned away from Yahweh and as such He had devoiced them, however His love would find a way. The Son would take it take it upon Himself, being born of Abraham’s seed, being tested in every way by the devil and yet remained sinless and perfect. As the spotless Lamb of God He offered Himself upon the tree as the substitute for fallen, devoiced and rejected Israel and sinful man. He took the penalty upon Himself.
“Let Israel hope in Yahweh: for with Yahweh there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.” (Psa 130:7-8)
“But now thus saith Yahweh that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am Yahweh thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour” (Isa 43:1-3)
“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” (Gal 4:4-6)
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham…” (Luke 1:68-73)
We may brush aside these scriptures as being unimportant, but they are the Word of Yahweh and vital to His plan. His primary message is to Israel whom He will never abandon.
Of course, national redemption doesn’t mean individual salvation. As it is the responsibility of the nation to get right with Yahweh, so it is with the individual. Salvation can only be realised by us personally turning to Yahweh in repentance and believing Him who was sent.
Redemption
As we have seen, in accordance with Yahweh’s plan and purpose, Yahshua came “To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” (Gal 4:5) “…for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.” (Heb 9:15) For He “…gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.: (Tit 2:14) Therefore, “…we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Col 1:14)
Unfortunately, the true meaning of redemption is not well understood, if at all, but before we can fully comprehend its meaning and significance, we must first understand to whom these promises were made. Which people had been “under the law” and had made “transgressions under the first covenant” and yet had “the promise of the eternal inheritance” and called “unto himself a peculiar people”?
According to the bible, the simple answer is Israel. The scriptures only record Yahweh giving His laws (commandments, statutes and judgements) to them and no other nation. Therefore, only Israel could be ‘under the law’ (Ex 20 to Deut 34):
“And Yahweh said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.” (Ex 24:12)
“Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.” (Mal 4:4)
“Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you…Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as Yahweh my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as Yahweh our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons…And Yahweh spake unto you out of the midst of the fire…And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And Yahweh commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.” (Deut 4:1-15)
It was only with Israel whom Yahweh made the ‘first covenant’:
“And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. Yahweh our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Yahweh made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.” (Deut 5:1-3)
“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.” (Heb 8:7-9)
If the ‘first covenant’ had only been made with Israel, then only Israel could transgress it and this is what the bible clearly states they did:
“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” (Jos 7:11)
“And the anger of Yahweh was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice” (Judges 2:20)
“Because they obeyed not the voice of Yahweh their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.” (2Ki 18:12)
“Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.” (Dan 9:11)
Yahweh promised to make a new covenant with Israel that they might receive “the promise of the eternal inheritance” after they had made transgressions under the first testament (covenant):
“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” (Heb 9:15)
“For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah” (Heb 8:8)
It was Israel who had been given the inheritance:
“And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel…and I have remembered My covenant…I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.’” (Ex 6:5-8)
“Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” (Ps 8:2)
“In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.” (Jer 3:18)
“He is the Lord our God…He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance,” (Ps 105:7-11)
In fact, Moses records Israel as being Yahweh’s own inheritance:
“I prayed therefore unto Yahweh, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.” (Deut 9:26)
“But Yahweh hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.” (Deut 4:20)
“For Yahweh’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.” (Deut 32:9)
Lastly, only Israel has been called “unto Himself a peculiar people” or treasure:
“For thou art an holy people unto Yahweh thy God, and Yahweh hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.” (Deut 14:2)
“And Yahweh hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;” (Deut 26:18)
“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:” (Ex 19:5)
“For Yahweh hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.” (Ps 135:4)
Despite demonstrating that the above promises of redemption were indeed made to Israel since only they meet the criteria, some may still be asking, but surely He has redeemed everyone, not just Israel? This of course would be a fair and reasonable question, since most people assume redemption is similar to salvation. However this would be a mistake. While salvation can apply to anyone, redemption is much more exclusive and narrower in application. This is because it legally means “A repurchase; a buying back” (Blacks Law Dictionary) The Strong’s Concordance also confirms its meaning as to ‘buy back’ by the previous owner or their next of kin:
“to redeem…that is, to be the next of kin (and as such to buy back a relative’s property, marry his widow, etc.)…(do, perform the part of near, next) kinsfolk (-man), purchase, ransom, redeem (-er)…” (Strongs Concordance 1350)
“redemption (including the right and the object); by implication relationship: kindred, redeem, redemption, right.” (Strong Concordance 1353)
Of course, this is all in accordance with Yahweh’s law which also defines redemption as the repurchase of a ‘person or property’ by the previous owner or their relative/kindred:
“If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold. And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it; Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession. But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession. And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.” (Lev 25:25-29)
“After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him: Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.” (Lev 25:48-49)
If we now put this all together, redemption means ‘the repurchase of something once possessed at a stipulated price, either by the previous owner or their relative’.
Again, this means only Israel could have been redeemed, since only Israel has been the ‘possession’ of Yahweh:
"For the people of Israel belong to Yahweh; Jacob is his special possession…” (Deut 32:9)
“For you are a people holy to Yahweh your God. Yahweh your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” (Deut 7:6)
“For Yahweh has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession.” (Ps 135:4)
“Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine…” (Ex 19:5)
Only Israel has had a direct relationship with Yahweh:
“And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Yahweh, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me” (Ex 4:22-23)
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” (Isa 49:15)
“And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel…, and I have remembered My covenant. Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God” (Ex 6:5-7)
For “You only have I known of all the families of the earth.” (Amos 3:2)
If this wasn’t yet clear enough, the Bible confirms in plain language that it was indeed Israel who was redeemed:
“But now thus saith Yahweh that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” (Isa 43:1)
“Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Sing, O ye heavens; for Yahweh hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Yahweh hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.” (Isa 44:21-23)
“Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. For thy Maker is thine husband; Yahweh of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. For Yahweh hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Yahweh thy Redeemer.” (Isa 54:4-8)
What wonderful words of comfort for the biblical Israelites and their descendants for they are not without hope, but have been redeemed!
The Gospel of the Kingdom of God
As we have studied earlier, the Israelite nations make up the ‘kingdom of God’ on earth (read our ‘What and Where is the Kingdom of God’ for a more in-depth study). This occurred after Yahweh established and organised His Kingdom at Mount Sinai after He chose the Israelites to be His servant people (Ex 19:5-20 & 2 Sam 7; 22-24); gave them His laws (Ex 20- Deut 34); became their King (Isa 44:6; Judges 8:22-23; 1 Sam 8:7 & 12:12) and gave them the land promised (Gen 15:18-21 & Josh 1:2-5) after the people agreed to do all Yahweh had commanded. Thereby confirming the unconditional covenant made with Abraham (Gen 17:3-8 & Jer 31:35-37) which was reconfirmed with Isaac and then Jacob (Gen 35:10-12). In doing so they were to be blessed, and in being so, act as an example to the other nations of what might be expected if they also implemented and followed His laws (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14)
When Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He spoke to Moses concerning how they would function as a nation before Him. The giving of the Law was the means whereby Israel would maintain and conduct themselves under Yahweh. Moses admonished Israel to follow these laws and said “Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” (Deut 4:5-6)
Let’s understand, His commandments provide both a summary of his entire law and a moral code for the individual, while His statutes and judgements provide the nations with all the laws they will need to achieve true freedom, peace, liberty, health and prosperity. They cover every aspect of our national life including the best form of government; justice system; economy and taxes; foreign relations; personal property rights; sustainable agricultural practices; health laws; welfare system; employment relations; holidays; social responsibilities and military to name a few (Ex 20 - Deut 34). While these laws were originally given to Israel to implement and administer, after Christ returns, all nations are expected to follow the example of perfected Israel so they can also enjoy Yahweh’s blessings.
Unfortunately, Israel did not remain obedient to Yahweh for long or act as the model nation they were called to be and accordingly were punished through the Assyrians who took them captive around 721 BC. Yahweh removed all Israel from His presence (i.e. removed them from Palestine) with no one returning accept one priest (2 Kings 17:23-28). They would eventually migrate to the 'isles of the sea' (British Isles), northwest of Palestine (Psa 91:1, 24:15; Isa 24:15; 49:1, 12; 59:19; Jer 3:12-18, 23:8, 31:7-8, 10). Note that in Hebrew the same word is used for both 'sea' and 'west', so 'isles of the sea' should be translated 'isles of the west'. Here they would be replanted in fulfilment of the words Samuel prophesied to King David (2 Sam 7:10-11). This is further confirmed in 2 Esdras 13:40-45 stating when the House of Israel was captive in Assyria, they took “counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitudes of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt”.
Josephus the renown ancient Jewish historian, wrote in his Antiquities of the Jews, Book 2, Chapter 5, v2 that out of all the “entire body of Israel” (12 tribes), only 2 tribes remained in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans since the “ten tribes were beyond Euphrates till now” and were an “immense multitude, and could not be estimated by numbers”. This migration has also been confirmed by many leading historians, archaeological findings and historical records.
In due course, the House of Israel lost its identity and became ‘gentiles’ (see study on ‘Who are the Gentiles’) among the nations of Europe as they migrated toward Britain, becoming known by many names including the Khumri, Sacae, Scythians, Goths, Picts, Scots, Viking, Angles, Jutes, Celts, Saxons and Normans. All different names for the various Israelite tribes, linked together by the black Obelisk of Shalmaneser, the Behistun rock in Persia and other monuments and historians including Herodotus, Pliny, Ptolemy and Sharon Turner.
This was all in complete fulfilment of the prophesies and promises concerning Israel. Including their loss of the name Israel, to be known under a new name (Isa 65:15) called great, 'Great' Britain (Gen 12:2). In their new home, they were to now be called after the name Isaac (Gen 21:12; Rom 9:7) i.e. Saxons (sons of Sac) because the I is dropped since in Hebrew it is rarely pronounced. They would also speak a new language (Isa 28:11). The word 'British' appropriately means 'covenant man' in Hebrew and is almost spelt the same in Hebrew (Brith-ish). It’s interesting on reaching their destination they would start to call themselves the 'covenant people' in Hebrew and just one example showing the remarkably close affinity the Saxon/Celtic/Welsh/English languages have with the Hebrew language. This on its own is a strong proof of our origin. Not only many actual words either directly or indirectly rooted in the Hebrew language, but also sharing a similar grammatical and idiomatic construction and appears to be the only languages into which Hebrew can almost literally be translated.
Although Israel had been rejected and divorced by God in judgement for their sins, as we discussed earlier this was not to be permanent since Yahweh promised they would never cease to be a nation before Him and were to be restored at the end of their punishment (Jer 3:8-25; 31:1-37 & 50:17-20). This was made possible through the death of Christ enabling divorced and rejected Israel to be restored to the Abrahamic Covenant so in the place they were called “not my people”, they could be called ”the sons of the living God” when Yahweh promised He would make a new covenant (the New Testament) with Israel:
“Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God” (Hos 1:10)
It was this truly wonderful news, which Yahshua had come to declare concerning the Kingdom of God (Israel) and the good news which the disciples and apostles were to preach to the ‘gentiles’ (lost Israelites) everywhere they might be found. Yahshua Himself confirmed the House of Israel had become lost to the world (though surely not to Himself) and therefore located outside Palestine (otherwise they wouldn’t be lost!). He states several times, including in Matt 15:24 that He was sent only to the “lost sheep of Israel” and commanded His apostles to also go and preach only to the “lost sheep of Israel” just as prophesied:
“These twelve Yahshua sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the nations, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 10:5-7).
In Ezekiel 34, the House of Israel is described by Yahweh as being His sheep and His people and states He Himself would search for them and look after them.
Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks…The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick,…neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered…For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. … I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. … And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. … Thus shall they know that I Yahweh their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD. (Eze 34: 2-31).
“And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and Yahweh said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.” (1Ki 22:17)
“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.” (Jer 50:6)
“Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.” (Jer 50:17)
“I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.” (Mic 2:12)
“For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” (Matt 18:11) and “And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.” (Luke 15:6).
Since Christ was sending His disciples to share the gospel with the lost Israelites, He must have told them where they were to be found which appears to have been in Britain since the Christian religion was brought directly to Britain from Jerusalem by Joseph of Arimathea and other disciples soon after, if not before the crucification. Again, there are many proofs and certainly a great deal of tradition that the apostle Simon and later Paul visited Britain along with others too.
It was Britain who built the world's first ever church (Glastonbury, England around 38 AD) before taking Christianity to Rome. Facts confirmed by many records, including the rulings of the early councils of the Roman Catholic church. It was Britain who became the first ever Christian people and nation in 156 AD by Act of its government (British Triads) (Hos 1:10; Isa 9:2; 44:3-5; 45:17-19; 45:25; 48:20; 49:3) and throughout her history has always been a great missionary people having taken Christianity around the globe (Isa 27:6; 43:21; 44:3-5; Mark 16:15 and Matt 7:20) not to mention the translation, printing and distribution of the bible itself which continues to this day. Did not Christ tell the Jews that the Kingdom of God would be taken from them and given to a people who would produce its fruit (Matt 21:43).
What ‘good news’ it must have been to the lost Israelites upon hearing the true gospel message. To learn that Yahweh had not forgotten them or permanently rejected them, but had instead opened the way for them to be restored and reconciled back to Him. Enabling them to become the “children of the living God” and therefore able to fulfil their special purpose in serving Yahweh. These lost Israelites found in the Isles north west of Palestine; in the desolate places, islands afar off, coastlands and ends of the earth. A race of people sharing the same heritage, culture and traditions. Living together as a nation and company of nations. A group of Christian nations blessed with great wealth, known worldwide for their crops, lamb and beef. A people who were to become a blessing to mankind, showing the fruits of righteousness as they became a great missionary people taking Christianity around the globe all as prophesied.
Therefore the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is both national and international in scope and details the fulfilment of the promises made concerning the nation and people of Israel. Their later redemption and restoration made possible through Christ’s death and resurrection, enabling Yahweh to bring them back, as a nation into covenant relationship with Him that they might fulfil their responsibilities in later days. The return of Christ to earth, to rule over the House of Jacob (Israel) and eventually all nations and kingdoms of the world. This being achieved as Israel finally takes up its responsibility and becomes the model nation and therefore a blessing to all families and nations on earth. A servant people, demonstrating Yahweh’s love to all. Other nations and races will be invited to study His laws in operation and to observe the benefits which follow, in order that they might too adopt the same laws and thereby enjoy the same benefits and blessings and become part of the Kingdom of God also (Isa 2:2-5; Mic 4:1-5; Zech 14:16-19). Thus fulfilling the promise that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord.
Of course, lets never forget that “…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)
Yahweh’s Call to His People
The scriptures make clear that Yahweh created and carefully trained a certain race to carry out His plans and purpose on earth. However, in their training, that race failed because of sin, but their failure only served to intensify their training. Yahweh graciously redeemed her through the death of His Son, and in the latter days He fulfilled in her the wonderful provisions of the covenant made with Abraham, making her a great power and influence in the world. Here was the instrument He had prepared down through the ages, and with which He would destroy all evil in the world, that all nations might come into the glorious knowledge of the Kingdom of God on earth. To this end a final call must come to the Israelite nations for dedication to such a service, whereupon Yahweh has promised to pour out His Holy Spirit upon her, and endue her with His power.
We have, therefore, an important and profound message for our people. It is the message of the prophets calling upon the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic people to awaken and seek their rightful inheritance in Yahweh. The message constitutes a divine crusade that stands for and guarantees the liberation of all men, not only from individual sin, but from the tyranny of evil men and their evil systems, if we will but yield to the Father and repent and believe His Son. The message not only offering men deliverance from the penalty and power of sin, but intimately dealing with national affairs, and offering the only solution to every world problem. A plan backed by the omnipotent power of Yahweh.
When Britain, America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the rest of our brethren nations finally repent and seek Yahweh once more, we will again become invincible against any world threat or power. As Britain was once used to bring slavery to an end, so will she and our brethren be called upon to be the instrument in Yahweh’s hands to bring liberty to all men. Are we ready to consecrate our lives to this great course and bear forth its glorious message to our peoples? Yahweh is truly seeking out and training such men and women behind the scenes, who at the appointed time will bring them forth in His power to be leaders and preachers in the Israelite nations.
Simon Peter knew very well the part Israel had to play in the great Plan. He also knew that the death of Yahshua and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost had not altered that Plan, but had rather enhanced it and confirmed it. "Ye men of Israel," he said, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And He shall send Christ Yahshua, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began…Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the Covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first, God, having raised up His Son Yahshua, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities" (Acts 3:12, 19-21, 25-26).
This national message still applies to the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic people today and it reveals our great responsibility as a nation and a people, for so much depends upon our being in the will of Yahweh. The words "unto you first" imply the preparation of the nation before it can be fully used, and therefore it has the priority mentioned in this Scripture. We are living in very strange days, and very strange things are happening around us. To the uninformed, it is very dark and puzzling. Nothing seems to make sense until we turn to the Word of Truth and see there a perfect plan being worked out so perfectly all down through human history and particularly so in the days of our own generation. "We have also the more sure word of Prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a Light that shineth in a dark place, until the Day dawn, and the Morning Star arise in your hearts…For the Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:19, 21).
Israel His Servant People
While we can be sure we the Anglo Saxon Celtic people are the true descendants of the biblical Israelites, this fact does not make us superior to others. Yahweh did choose a specific group of people to be His people and made certain promises to them and us. We were to be a holy nation and royal priesthood. However, our purpose and destiny was to be a servant people demonstrating Yahweh’s love to all. Demonstrating the blessings which come from implementing, administrating and following His Laws. The promises made and fulfilled in us, that we might be helped in this difficult endeavour.
All the nations of the world would be invited to see and learn Yahweh’s laws in action and when ready, repent and serve Him themselves, that they might too be blessed. As a result, Israel was to become a model nation and blessing to all peoples on the earth.
So you see, there is no ‘superior’ race. Rather a servant people serving Yahweh and all other people on the earth that all might eventually be blessed.
The confusion has resulted from the political Jews (Zionists) falsely claiming themselves to be Yahweh’s chosen people and then demanding the world treat them differently (special). It is Judaism which also falsely teaches the 'Jews' as being superior to all others and being destined to rule the world, with the rest of the races to serve them!
Unfortunately, most Christians who reject all the evidence for the Anglo Saxon Celtic people being the descendants of the Israelites (saying it's somehow racist), are more than happy to uplift the modern day 'Jews' (converts to a pagan religion, whose descendants never lived in Palestine and bare no relation to the biblical Israelites) as being the chosen ones. Then demanding they get special treatment. It is sad they don't see the hypocrisy and foolishness.
Again, Israel was, is and will be His servant people. Serving and being a blessing to all. Yahweh’s Word, Will and purposes will be fulfilled!
Of course, while the obedience of Israel and their descendants have waxed and waned through the long centuries, most of the hearts of our people and leaders today are as far away from Yahweh as ever as we turn to gods of our own making and continue in our sinful living. We have lost all integrity and honour and as a result have become more and more despised and hated. However, we know Yahweh’s plans and purposes will succeed and be totally fulfilled.
So, what will happen to cause the hearts of our people and nation to turn back to Yahweh so we finally implement, administer and obey His good and perfect laws as an example to all?
The End of the Age is Coming!
The disciples asked “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age?" (Matt 24:3) Yahshua answered by speaking extensively as recorded in Matt 24, about the dreadful nature of this unique period of upheaval prior to His second coming. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows…For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened…Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
Man has been rejecting Yahweh’s perfect laws, wisdom and direction from the beginning. Even though this has brought nothing but wars and violence; sorrow and brokenness; inequality, poverty and loss of freedoms; sickness and death, man refuses to repent of his sinful and selfish ways. With pride he continues to think he knows better than his own Creator and therefore will not acknowledge that Yahweh’s ways are better than our own. Accordingly, like a cancer, the old Babylonian system has lived on, forcing its devilish roots into every human institution, including our governments, economies, banking system, businesses, international relationships and religious organisations. Now beyond cure Yahweh is taking the only course left open apart from actual abandonment, and that course is by no means going to be a pleasant experience for anyone who loves the ‘world’.
Evil must, and will be, rooted out completely along with all those who seek to destroy the earth and each other. The day of reckoning is at hand. Destruction seems to be the order of the day, and unless we hold the key to Yahweh’s great plan and purpose, we will not be able to understand the present course of world events in which so many long-founded human standards and organisations will crumble and pass away. These are certainly the days spoken of by the prophets.
Of course, the ultimate fulfilment of all this will only occur when Christ returns and “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord…” (Rev 11:15) “And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth“ (Zec 14:9) “…and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty Elohim, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever…” (Isa 9:6-7)
Knowing the end of man’s misrule will not come without a fight, Yahshua warns us we must “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” In fact, it is so important we remain alert that He warns us three times during Matt 24, that we must beware of those who will rise up to deceive many.
The “disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Yahshua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many…Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come...For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be...And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other…Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. …Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. (Matt 24:3-51)
The Nation and People to Repent and Turn Back to Yahweh
The effect of these events leading up to the climax of the second coming of Christ upon the modern descendants of ten-tribe Israel and the House of Judah will be that of repentance and spiritual regeneration. A nation will be spiritually born again "And so all the ‘Elect’ of Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away unGodliness from Jacob" (Rom 11:26).
Like the prodigal son, we the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic people will eventually come to the end of our tether. We will be reduced from greatness among the nations, having forsaken our Heavenly Father and revelled in sinful living. Though we ‘never had it so good‘ the 'people of the Book' continue to turn away from Yahweh and His perfect laws toward immorality and lawlessness. Putting pleasure, self interest and material gain before all else and each other. Forgetting our origin, responsibility, destiny and inheritance as Yahweh’s people (Israel).
We have forgotten that our great Ango-Saxon-Celtic nations (i.e. Britain, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand etc) were founded upon the very commandments, statutes and judgments given by Yahweh to the Israelites at Mt Sinai. The English Common Law, Magna Carta and Bill of Rights etc broadly based, though imperfectly on Yahweh's law given through Moses. Laws if administered and followed guaranteed us great national blessings including wealth and prosperity beyond our wildest dreams. Peace, happiness, general wellbeing and perfect health. Justice, freedom and liberty. Just government; a prosperous economy; taxes capped at a maximin of 10-20% and only applied to one’s profits (increase) with all personal property exempted. Protection of the individual, family and possessions and sustainable agricultural and farming practices to name a few. A people free from all insecurities, fears and worries of life. Free from unhappiness, sickness, disease, poverty and want.
Instead of continuing to administer and follow Yahweh’s laws and obtaining the above, we have chosen a different path and as a consequence have lost all sense of honour, justice and equity. Our freedoms, general wellbeing, health and prosperity all diminished. Our citizens and families no longer protected. Possessions confiscated by inflation and unjust taxes. Our economies on the brink of collapse under a mountain of debt, entangled by financial powers demanding their tribute. Families and marriages broken everyday. Justice compromised with new laws created daily and old ones repealed. No one guaranteed of a right verdict, while the system places the rights of the criminal before the victim. Freedom diminished by corrupt and dishonest governments ever growing in size and control. We have legislated to our heart's content. Legislation which has in many cases been in direct opposition to the Divine Law of the Yahweh.
We have also neglected our true friends in the Commonwealth and instead flirted with the United Nations and European Union. No longer acting with integrity, honour and independence among the nations, we have instead continued our courtship with heathen nations and copied their ways and become more and more despised and hated. Much as ancient Israel of old had copied the nations around her and destroyed herself in doing so.
It is no wonder when the “great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” comes we will begin to be in want. When violence is roaming our streets; our wealth and prosperity taken and we are devoid of all we had held dear, Israel will be faced with annihilation as the final world war has burst upon the world in judgment. Broken and subdued, at last we will turn again to Yahweh, who seeing those of them afar off who have truly repented and are returning to Him in mercy will embrace them in wondrous reconciliation and will pour out His Holy Spirit upon them and the ‘Elect’ will be completely delivered and restored as prophesied by Ezekiel in chapter 36.
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye take not part in her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev 18:4)
His Government Superior to Ours
Despite His call to “come out of her”, we have not yet seen our brokenness and wretchedness. Nor have we realised our sinfulness and in pride we refuse to repent and turn again to our true King who calls us to “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt 11:28-30) Rather than submitting to an easy yoke and light burden, we have instead turned to our own leaders and government who in comparison offer nothing but an increasingly heavy burden as the state continues to claim more and more power over every aspect of our lives. Claiming total jurisdiction from the cradle to the grave. The womb to the tomb. Our welfare, health, education, property, families, jobs, businesses, farms, economy, even our very lives, all controlled by the state.
Of course, when the state claims total jurisdiction, as our modern state does, it claims itself to be as God. While denying the very existence of God, it therefore bows to no one and is accountable to no one!
“The modern word for such a government is totalitarian: government that arrogates to itself total power. The crowning goal of Satan is to have a totalitarian world government. We who have known something of God the Creator know that total power can reside only in Him. Clearly the maker of anything is greater than anything He might make. The very possibility of a Frankenstein monster, the recreation of human hands that can destroy humans and not be destroyed by them, is a false image of distorted reason. It presupposes a supernatural evil genius which deceives men into thinking they have made something while really they have been passive agents of an unknown power. The potter can do what he will with his clay” (T Robert Ingram, The World Under God’s Law, 1962, Pg 24)
When the Israelites rejected Yahweh as their King, in order to make a man their king, Yahweh declared the consequences:
“And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and Yahweh will not hear you in that day.” (1 Sam 8:11-18)
Just as Yahweh warned, all these things have happened exactly as written. In fact, modern governments have gone even further, not being satisfied with only a ‘tenth’, they continue to help themselves to many more times this amount through both direct and indirect taxation and inflation.
How shall we then free ourselves as a nation from the ever-increasing harvest of suffering, sorrow, poverty, violence, war, sickness and death, brought upon ourselves by our own misrule, greed, selfishness and immorality? There is only one way and it requires we submit ourselves under the perfect will of Yahweh. This means turning from the process of making laws which is the very expression and essence of our own will and turning to those eternal laws which Yahweh has given us which are the very expression and essence of His will.
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons…that they may teach their children….And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And Yahweh commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.” (Deut 4:1-14)
It is Yahweh’s will for us to enjoy self-government, but only within our capacity and ability and subject to His laws. Therefore, our local earthly government can only be successful if we remember that it is only ours to administer His laws and never to make our own laws because of our own limitations and sinfulness. While it is also His purpose to make us “kings and priests unto God and his Father” (Rev 1:6) that “…we shall reign on the earth” (Rev 5:10), we must always remember that our thrones are only at the footstall of His superior throne. Our kingship subject to the authority of the King of kings. Our kingship having only the authority to administer His good and perfect laws, but never to make our own.
While many may argue that the laws given to Israel were too cruel, harsh and primitive in comparison to our ’modern’ laws, they do this only in ignorance, due to their lack of understanding of His “good and perfect” commandments, statutes and judgements. For example, the law “An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” is a statute not imposing, but limiting punishment! A law which protects us all by legislating that no punishment should ever exceed the crime. The penalty must never exceed the injury done. Think of all those in our lands who in past days were hung or sentenced to a life of hard labour for stealing a loaf of bread! Our own laws less humane and successful than the divine law of Yahweh. Of course today, many of our laws now favour and in some cases even reward the criminal while punishing the victim. The criminal receiving free accommodation, food and clothing and in many cases a free education while the victim is rarely compensated for their loss, let alone given the opportunity for a better life.
King David was an administrator of Yahweh’s laws in a nation which could put a million fighting men in the field and yet declared “The law of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.” (Psa 19:7) It might appear strange to us that any national laws could ever bring about a conversion experience, but this is exactly what David declared to be the case. In fact, it would seem the conversion experience can only come in this way since Yahshua speaking of the purpose and work of the Holy Spirit declared “when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8) This is the application of the law to the conscience of the individual and the reason we pray “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10) for this shall occur when Yahshua returns, for “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke 1:32-33)
Yahshua said to Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) Why, because the unbeliever sees in Yahweh’s Kingdom (biblical Israel) only a group of nations among many nations. It is to them nothing more than man-made institutions. In their eyes all nations are equal. They see nothing of the fact these nations are the rock upon which Yahweh has built His church, against which the gates of hell shall not prevail. They see nothing more in the citizenship of the Kingdom nations than the citizenship of any nation. Their’s is the cry for universal equality and universal brotherhood where all are brought down to the lowest common denominator. To them the fact Yahshua died “that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not” (John 11:50) is an unknown doctrine, for they think only of the individual and never of the nation and kingdom.
Let us clearly understand, that the Kingdom of God is made up of the redeemed nations in which the descendants of the biblical Israelites predominately reside (the Anglo Saxon Celtic nations). We are not only talking about the individuals which make up the Kingdom, but the nations which form the basis of His Kingdom. The nations which were redeemed by the blood of Yahshua and who will never be destroyed for they are the bride of Christ and shall be purged and purified and made ready for the coming marriage of the Lamb.
When one studies the history of our people again and again our Anglo Saxon Celtic nations and people have been continuously preserved from destruction when by all human calculation we should have been destroyed whether by the French, Spanish Amanda, Napoleon or the Germans in both world wars. Not once could even a single solder even set foot on British soil! And yet the British Empire remains the only empire which did not and has not fallen.
It is certain that the higher phases of the Kingdom stretch up into the Heavens to the throne of the Father, and yet the manifestation of His Kingdom on earth is here. It is a shame we His people have not yet seen nor understood the glorious possibilities and blessings He has bestowed upon us if only we will “repent and believe”, but the time has come for us as His Kingdom people to make ourselves ready for the return of our Lord and King.
Repentance and Obedience Made Lasting
The questions remain. What will it take for us to finally see our purpose in Yahweh’s plan? Will the end time troubles which are prophesied to come upon us really cause any lasting repentance and how will our Israelite nations ever fulfil our responsibility and destiny as Yahweh’s servant people if we have not been able to do so in the past? How will we ever be expected to implement, administer and obey Yahweh’s perfect laws if we have always failed in the past? Even after witnessing the most miraculous of miracles and being given the most favourable of conditions, including every possible help, assistance and blessing we have always quickly slid back into sin and disobedience. Despite being given the most dazzling inducements for obedience on the one hand and the most terrible punishments on the other if we did not obey did little to stir our love and obedience!
The truth is the whole direction of a man’s action is always determined by his will and man’s very nature is sinful. How then is it possible to change a man’s will so he desires to do what is right regardless of the consequences? How will he be changed so he desires his neighbour’s good rather than his own? Is there any hope?
The only remedy and hope for us and the rest of the world then must be in the power of Yahweh to change our hearts so our whole being desires to do good so we can at last fulfil the greatest commandments. To “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matt 22:37-39).
In our own strength we can achieve nothing and have little hope of ever achieving His standard of love and conduct. What hope is there apart from Christ, for He alone is our Savour and our only possibility of forgiveness, reconciliation and redemption?
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and Yahweh hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isa 53:6) “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isa 53:4-5) “for he shall bear their iniquities.” (Isa 53:11) “He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matt 1:21) After the death and resurrection of Christ, Peter to Israel “Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Yes, having been forgiven and healed we were now to “live unto righteousness”, but again how? Thankfully in the hour Yahshua died for our sins, that we might be forgiven and be reconciled, a new covenant was also ratified by His blood as He had spoken of the night before “This is the New Covenant in my blood.” His very words in direct confirmation of the promise made through Jeremiah when Israel was already in captivity and Judah about to enter theirs.
What is this but the ‘will’ to do what is right and good! No longer will the law need to be imposed from without, a standard which man impossibly strives for, but rather Yahweh’s perfect law put “in their inward parts” and written “in their hearts”. Think of the command “to love thy neighbour as thyself”. Suppose the love for our neighbour was as deep in our hearts and as natural as our love for our mother and father or child? No longer driven by selfishness, lust and greed, rather with “a new spirit” and “heart of flesh” He will cause us to “walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them“.
“For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ez 36:24-28)
What a wonderful hope we have when He finally puts a new heart and spirit within us that will cause not only us, but the entire nation to walk according to His statutes and judgements!
His Perfect Laws to Bring Freedom and Prosperity
Sadly, the central theme of many preachers today is an anti-law message. They label Yahweh’s commandments, statutes and judgements as outdated and then proudly announce we no longer need to obey them since they have been ‘nailed to the cross‘. Of course, this is nothing but a deception and these preachers should listen more carefully to the warning of Yahshua who declared: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt 5:17-19)
He further continued, ‘it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one title of the law to fail“ (Luke 16:17) for “we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments“ (1 Jn 5:2) and “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love” (John 15:10)
In fact, Yahshua not only taught us to “love God, and keep His commandments”, but actually raised the standard even higher. The law would not just relate to our actions, but our thoughts and attitudes too for “Having made a “…new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah…I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. (Jer 31:31-33)
With the laws now imprinted on our hearts and consciences, his laws would not only guide our actions, but also our thoughts and attitudes for it is in the heart where sin and rebellion begins. “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment…Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matt 5:21-28)
Of course, by writing His laws on our hearts and inward parts and giving us His holy Spirit as our guide He “…shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26) and will thereby enable us to keep His laws. We would now desire to obey Him and with His laws as much a part of us as any emotion, thought or desire we could finally be able to “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. (Luke 10:27)
Sure, it will not be easy, but nor will it be “…too difficult for you or beyond your reach…No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it….See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and Yahweh your God will bless you” (Deut 30:11-20)
For those who might still be under the misapprehension that being under grace lessons the importance of us obeying Him, Yahshua urges us “And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” (Matt 5:29-30) In other words, we must do everything possible to avoid sin, even if it means the loss of a body part or our very life! Why? Because He wants us to “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matt 5:28)
None of this should come as a surprise. Yahshua was only continuing the teaching of what had already been revealed in the Old Testament scriptures which declared Yahweh’s commandments, statutes and judgements were perpetual:
“O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!” (Deut 5:29)
“Therefore thou shalt love Yahweh thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.” (Deut 11:1)
“Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Yahweh, according to thy lovingkindness. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” (Ps 119:159-160)
“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.” (Ex 31:16)
“And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to Yahweh throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever…And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread…in your generations by an ordinance for ever…” (Ex 12:14 and 17)
The prophets also declare Yahweh’s laws will remain forever, for Yahshua is soon to return to establish His government and administer the laws Himself. The nations will be required to appear before Him each year and worship Him as King and even to keep the feast of tabernacles:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever...” (Isa 9:6-7)
“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.” (Mic 4:2)
“And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yahweh, and his name one. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahweh will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. “ (Zec 14:9, 16-19)
Some might refer to the teachings of Paul and argue that we are now “dead to the law”. However, Paul himself said:
“Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” (Rom 3:31) “For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.” (Rom 2:12-13)
“Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good…I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man…I thank God through Yahshua Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.” (Rom 7:12-25)
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Yahshua, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Yahshua hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Rom 8:1-14)
What law then, are we dead to? The law of sin and death! “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Yahshua Christ our Lord.” (Rom 6:23) Since we have all sinned, we all deserve death in accordance with His just and perfect law. However, Yahshua as our representative and substitute, died in our place for our sins that we might be restored back into a position of covenant keeping, instead of covenant breaking. Enabling us to keep the law, being free “from the law of sin and death” (Rom 8:2) “that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us” (Rom 8:4) Therefore, we are restored to a position of law-keeping. While the man as covenant-breaker is in “enmity against God” (Rom 8:7) and subject “the law of sin and death”, the believer is under “the law of the spirit of life in Christ” (Rom 8:2)
To the man on death row, the law is death, but to the godly man, the law which places another man in prison is life, in that it protects him, his family and property from criminals. Without any law, society would quickly collapse into anarchy and chaos before falling into the hands of the hoodlums.
Yahweh in creating man, ordered him to subdue the earth and exercise dominion over it (Gen 1:28) Man, in attempting to establish separate dominion and independent jurisdiction over the earth (Gen 3:5) fell into sin and death. Yahweh, in order to re-establish His kingdom, called Abraham and then Israel to be His people, to subdue the earth and exercise dominion under Him. The law given through Moses, established the laws of a godly society and nation.
This was the purpose of Christ coming. As sin-bearer of the ‘elect’ (Israel), Christ died to make atonement for our sins, to restore us to our position of righteousness under Yahweh. Israel being redeemed is recalled back to the original purpose and calling, to exercise dominion under Yahweh, to be covenant-keepers and to fulfil the “the righteousness of the law” (Rom 8:4). The law therefore remains central to Yahweh’s plan and purpose. Israel’s justification is by the grace of Yahweh. Israel’s sancification is by means of the law of Yahweh. Israel is thereby called to implement, administer and follow His laws that we might establish the society, nation and kingdom He requires.
“To be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Rom 8:6), and this does not mean each man living according to his own heart, each deciding what he thinks best, but rather following the laws of Yahweh which He has put “in their inward parts“ and written “in their hearts” under the guidance of the spirit of God whom “…shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26)
The purpose of grace is not to set aside the law but to fulfil the law and enable us to keep the law. If the law was so serious that our Heavenly Father would require the sacrifice of His only begotten son to make atonement for our sin, it would be strange that He would then simply abandon His law! The goal of the law is not lawlessness and the purpose of grace a lawless contempt for the giver of grace.
The increasing breakdown of law and order must first be attributed to the church leaders and their persistent anti-law message and compromise with the world. If the church and its leaders are lax and don’t respect the law, then will not the people soon follow? For civil law can not be separated from Yahweh’s law for His law includes all laws, including civil, judicial, ecclesiastical, societal, family and any other form of law. Any society which despises Yahweh’s law places itself under His judgement.
It is time we understood our freedom, liberty and prosperity can only come when we implement, administer and follow His just and perfect laws, both as a nation and a people.
Peace to Come Through Christ Only
"Thus saith the Lord of Hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come" (Hag 2:6-7). These words describe the terrible judgment of the Lord of Hosts which is to come upon the evil Babylonian system that has dominated man’s rule and authority for over 2,600 years. As a result of man’s misrule, the nations have reaped an ever-increasing harvest of suffering, sorrow, poverty, violence, war, sickness and death, culminating in the full tide of unprecedented misrule, greed, selfishness and immorality we see today. The object of these final judgments is to bring this satanic-dominated system to an end, for as long as it continues to exist there can never be peace and security on earth. The climax of this clash will bring us to "the Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty" (Rev 16:14)
Then follows the judgment of the nations which will be set up and personally presided over by Christ, the great Judge (Matt 25:31-46). The goat nations will be judged according to their treatment of "these my brethren", and these nations as such will not be allowed to enter into His Kingdom which he has established. The sheep nations are also judged, but they will enter into the glory of His Kingdom. Thus will the Kingdom of Yahweh be fully set up in the midst of the House of Jacob with its centre of government finally restored to Palestine. The City of New Jerusalem that comes down out of the sky in great glory, will become the world capital, and it is here that Christ will finally sit on the Throne of David.
All the Earth is destined to come under the reign of Christ. Therefore, great work and transformation will be commenced among the ‘outer’ nations on a scale never before seen. Practical help for reconstruction will be in bountiful supply. With the curse removed and all evil influence bound, conditions on the earth will rapidly improve in every conceivable way. Unfettered, nature will bestow plenty for all the necessities of life and with the absence of evil, there will be no mal-distribution in the perfect administration of the Kingdom. Sickness will also depart, life will be lengthened, and old age postponed beyond all expectation. The animal world will be delivered from the bondage of the curse which came upon it when our first parents fell, so long ago. Cruelty and fear will disappear completely (Rev 21:8) and perfect harmony will reign between man and beast. "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them…They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord” (Hosea 4:6) “as the waters cover the sea” (Isa 11:6-9).
When the Law of Yahweh goes forth from Jerusalem, peace will reign and we will know true joy and contentment. Let it not be thought that these statements are but empty platitudes. They represent blessings that are wholly confirmed by the prophets throughout the Scriptures. They are literal, and will come down on earth as surely as we expect the dawn. This is the glorious goal and object of the great plan of Yahweh and it will not fail to materialise, for it is backed by the oath and power of its great Designer. "The government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the Throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this" (Isa 9:6-7).
The effect upon the outer nations is reflected by the prophet Micah in the following quotation; "many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: For the Law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: Nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts hath spoken it" (Mic 4:2-4). “Thus at last, the kingdom of this world will have become the kingdom of Our Lord and of His Christ” (Rev 11:15).
The full glory of the redemption which Yahshua purchased with his own blood will then burst forth, and all men shall see it together and rejoice in its healing beneficence. Abraham will also see the magnificence of the world-wide Kingdom of God and will remember the day when he was called into partnership with Him in the great plan. He will recall the covenant Yahweh made with him, as reaffirmed with Jacob. "In thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed." Above all, Yahshua shall see the accomplishment of His work and be satisfied, and all creation shall surely join Heaven in singing "Allelujah: for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth" (Rev 19:6).
What Does This Mean for You?
So, what does this all mean for you? Do you count for anything in Yahweh’s great plan and purpose? Indeed you do! There is surely a place for you, a place of no small importance in His Kingdom. You are an integral part of it, provided you are in right relationship with Him. This relationship made possible through the sacrifice of His Son upon the Cross as previously explained. You may take your place in His plan and possess everlasting life here and now. “Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15) for “as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12). Like the nation of Israel, you have been called upon to enter into the blessings and privileges of His Kingdom and to witness the great liberating message of that Kingdom.
Of course, none should ever enter lightly into any decision unless prepared to lay down ones whole life for “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” (Rom 3:19-22)
Our loving Heavenly Father has made everything perfectly and wonderfully for a purpose. He knows us better than we know ourselves and has our best interests in mind at all times. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you” (Jer 29:11- 14)
Whatever your beginnings, your past failures, your current situation, He has a plan and purpose for your life “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) All we need do is repent and believe.
Again, with “life and prosperity, death and destruction” set before us, what will you choose?
Are You Really Saved?

Again, with “life and prosperity, death and destruction” set before us, what will you choose?
